I haven't read much of it, but I'll just say that like Weber's Safehold books, Stirling seems to be trying to stretch the story out as much as possible. Two books and they've barely made it halfway across the continent. Also, there must be REALLY advanced technology in play in order to be this indistinguishable.<g>... more »
